4" Peperomia Hope

$10.00

Sporty little Peperomia Hope was bred in the Netherlands by Josephus Van Der Velden. Stiff, reddish stems poke up with evenly spaced leaf nodes, each holding three round  leaves arranged in a kind of goofy looking clover pattern. The succulent type leaves are a satiny, smooth, medium green with ghostly, barely there lines running to the edges. Bunchy at first, it will swarm over the pot edge to dangle like a crowd of green dots. Peperomias are a flowering gang so this one blooms as well, little pale spikes on the tips of the stems, not so much to look at but it's fun to see blooms anytime. Actually epiphytic in nature, it nestles on trees, gleaning refreshing water and nutrients from the jungle canopy and rain.
