4" Senecio Radicans Glauca "Fish Hooks"

$6.00

We have run out of stock for this item.

Senecio Fish Hooks is a riot of poky, slender tubes curved at the end to make fish hooks. As they tumble out of the pot the fleshy stems and unruly hooks reach everywhere looking for fish to catch. In the wild and deserted rocky places they inhabit naturally, they crawl along the ground, stems rooting in place as they move. To propagate new plants from your potted one, lay a long stem (still attached to mother) atop bare soil and wait til it roots. Then cut the stem to make a new plant baby. It'll feel right at home. Hang this one in a sunny window and water sparingly. The cool blue color will be a nice accent in an arrangement of plants in reds, pinks, purple, and dark green. The flowers are cinnamon-spiced and appear in spring. You'll be happy to be caught on these hooks!
