Look at the base and see the pattern, kindof like a braid unfurling. The pale green leaves have deep green rings sketched on them randomly. Starfish is super easy going with its light requirements, anywhere is fine, but in the brightest light you can sometimes be rewarded with a tall, green spire decorated with bunches of small, evenly spaced white flower bunches that spray out sideways like a bottle brush and can be sweetly fragrant.
