Starting with leaves of big, fat ovals, from the strong, light green midvein down in a slight fold spring myriad stripes and slashes in deep pine green to the edges of the leaves, with fresh grassy\/lime stripes in between the pine ones. The thinnest of lines in emerald green stripe the lime bits. All of this adds up to a symphony of greens with a semi-gloss glaze over all. Add to that some nice red legs (stems). Getting to about 2' or so like most Calatheas, you can watch as she joins her Calathea prayer group and folds her leaves at night to pray for you.
