4" Lavender 'Holiday Tree'

We have run out of stock for this item.

Lavender has a long history of being loved, first grown by the Arabians. Ancient Greeks washed in it; it's named in the Bible Spikenard, with the Queen of Sheba offering it to King Solomon. Medieval washing women were known as "lavenders" as they used Lavender to wash clothes, French lambs were grazed on it, and ancient Egyptians used it for mummies. With a litany of helpful uses, medicinal, fragrances, cooking and so much more, it's not hard to see why it's everywhere you look today as well. Our sweet little Holiday Tree is a plush cone of softest, sagey-green, fringed leaflets in a little Christmas tree shape. Picture red or silver tiny ornaments on it with a silver star on top for your table or kitchen counter. Maybe some tiny lights or shining, trimmed little bits of tinsel carefully added. Trim little bits of leaves anytime for your own imaginative use. Planted in full sun in the garden after the holidays, it will grow to a nice little bush and cover itself with those legendary flowers for years to come.

  • Drought Tolerant
  • Low Maintenance
  • Water - Low (1) : Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.

Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).                    Difficulty - Low (1) : These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
