The Stromanthe Sanguinea ‘Triostar’ is a wildly colored member of the Maranta family. Longish, oval leaves with pointed tips vary in coloration including cream, pine green, ruby, and rose. Leaf undersides are a glowing magenta. Newest leaves appear tightly rolled and upright, then slowly unroll and lay horizontally. Indoors, a mature ‘Triostar’ can reach 2-3 ft tall and 1-2 ft wide. Triostar shares the charming habit of most of the Maranta family, gently folding its leaves upwards in an attitude of prayer.
