Exotic Alocasia Ivory Coast is an exciting new cultivar creating quite a buzz! Large sagittate (arrow shaped) leaves come in variable greens and don't exactly lay flat but are bumpy and pouchy textured. They are mapped with fat, spidery, whitish veins branching around. Over all is a vague, ghostly silver glow. From afar the stems would be described as salmon pinky colored, but examined up close they come in horizontally marked with thinnest, jaggedy burgundy etching over the pink. This is a large, voluminous Alocasia when it gets going, topping out at at least, 4' tall and maybe on beyond.
Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Medium (3): Not too difficult to keep happy, but does require some attention.
