Jeweled Aloe's jewels are raggedy, bright to pale yellow, ferocious looking toothy thorns edging each leaf. They really aren't all as sharp as all that if you touch them ( you know you want to). Fat, cupped, triangle shaped leaves are jade green with hints of azure and turn a purply-red with more sunlight, which they love. Leaves stack up geometrically into nice, fat columns. In the garden they mass up and clump even as a groundcover. In a pot they keep low growing and just make more friends off to the side. The fantastic flowers are stalks with mopheads of tubes in brilliantly glowing coral pinks with lavender/mauve tips, which open up to curled, yellow petal tips. In the garden, Jewel Aloes are beloved of Hummingbirds.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low (1) : Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- High - (5) : Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1) : These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
