4" Neoregelia Zonatus

$8.00

We have run out of stock for this item.

Neoregelia Zonatus, tall, dark and beautiful in its large rosette shape, is super simple to grow. No nonsense leaves, stiff, wide and crispy blades with a sawtooth edge, have rounded tips ending in a dip and a point. Their emerald/olive/lime hues tend to the darker tones in lower light. Zonatus, meaning "belted", is belted with lightly sketched rosy, cerise red to burgundy stripes. The center well is a black lagoon you can't quite see to the bottom of, kept refreshed and blessed by softly falling rainwater in the forest and is a welcome watering hole for tiny exotic frogs and little jewelled insects to hang out in. In your rainforest, remember to refresh the lagoon's water to keep it pure, and if you can, catch a little rainwater for it. Not a real big Bromeliad, Zonatus keeps to around 10" but is always expecting and will have lots of plant babies to look forward to
