This Zebrina Spider is a relatively new cultivar, a result of some judicious commercial breeding, not any one named breeder. It gets its Spider name from the tiny plantlets that dangle on long stems like a crowd of little spiders under the plant like a fancy skirt. Small, white, 6 petaled flowers spangle the stems. The Zebrina part is the bright and stripey aspect of it. Wider leaves than the regular old Spider, the soft and curving leaf blades are also much shorter too. Nice, fresh green centers run down each leaf and wide borders of bright cream edge them with flashes of a bright yellow here and there in the cream parts. The whole plant is a really nice and compact and full version of the Spider kin, still getting the fancy skirt of hanging stems below with baby Spiders hanging around in midair. Spider plants are proven to be excellent air purifiers and are completely pet friendly, so very pet friendly your cat will want to nibble it (it's ok) thinking you have brought it some pretty indoor grass, there is a rumor the plant actually gives the cat a mild high!

- Water - Medium (3): Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
