One of the most crazy Philodendrons ever, Golden Dragon is a relatively new hybrid with South American parents, kindova must-have for Philodendron fanciers like us. Leaves with the long nose of the Horsehead Philodendron, and the cut-edged fanciness of the Laciniatum, combine to make a racy dragon's face. The colors are something else-variegation is anything goes! On a smooth emerald leaf you can get any combo of yellow/cream/lime/sage/white in any combo of splashes/specks/spots/streaks and even leaves divided down the midrib with one side plain green and the other side wildly patterned in all those colors, or plain, solid white or cream. You never know what's next! The good thing is, those wacky leaves just get bigger and bigger. This is a social climber so give him some support and he'll get those big leaves faster. He's been noted at 6' or more with a nice, strong pole. These 4" juveniles are all green and unassuming, as they mature they develop those crazy dragon leaves and colors.
