Philodendron Pink Princess has been in our midst since the 1970's, maybe from plant breeder McColley some surmise, but not documented as such for sure. This rare princess has fabulous variegation. Her leaves are piebald, patchy, bubblegum pinks, pine greens, and whitest white, with new leaves covered with a glossy, transparent rose. Thick, fat stems like cherry licorice show off each leaf like a special event. A bit slower growing than some Philodendrons, each leaf IS a special event. Pink Princess is a joyous climber so a little support will be in order as she grows. As always with our plants with other than green coloring, a little more light will keep those pinks and whites appearing. She's rare and doesn't become available very often, although our stock is pretty good.
