Named for plant explorer Aime Bonpland, this fellow was found in the Amazon rainforest, quite the adaptable opportunist happily growing terrestrially on the forest floor, clinging wildly to trees as an epiphyte, and even ok with rocky areas; super strong and bulletproof. He grows a rosette of big, (really big) rounded, leathery, deep green leaves with regularly spaced, paler green veins quilting the leaves regularly, leaves circling the center nest. Not a ton of leaves, a few does just fine. The flower is a strange spire, a huge, knobby, pinky, burgundy, brown spadix pushing up high from the center, with a tiny, out of the way spathe in paler, pinky brown, not so visible but not so needed with those big wonderful leaves to admire.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
