Darkly beautiful, Dark Phoenix was developed in Siam by Jeera Jukmongkol of Siam Flora. Huge, long heart-shaped leaves with deep lobes at the top glow in deep maroon and soft, black velvet with strong red veins face forward, right at you. Youngish leaves can also be pine green with bronzy overtones and veins may be lighter, darkening to gothic darkness later. Each Phoenix does what it wants. When it blooms you will see a typical spathe and spadix assembly, pale green spathe with a reddish spadix. This is a unique and rare plant!

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
