Ritma Red is a relatively new hybrid from Anthura, Dutch plant breeder of many wonderful Anthuriums. Leaves are really quite large in a lovely, leathery, deep green with a gloss finish, big hearts all around the same height above the pot and all pointing their points outwards. Those flowers are large, bright, fresh, saturated scarlet red, with the added surprise of a deep red spadix poking straight up with the tiny, red true flowers studding the spadix in a regular, hypnotic pattern. Red spadixes are not so usual but really a pretty feature. A lot of these new and exciting hybrids are coming out with their flowers all growing in a crowd placed above the leaves, just right so all the large and lovely flowers can be seen. The blooms of this one are nice and long lasting. Even when they age and darken to a deeper red, they're still so pretty you'll hate to take them off. Anthuriums like to be watered just as soon as their soil dries, with Anthuriums this happens a bit sooner, they seem to be a little more thirsty. Just don't water til dry. Needless to say, this is the perfect gift plant perfect for any occasion that calls for a bunch of real long lasting red flowers, and also because you just want one.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
