4" Ficus Decora Marble

$16.00

Here we have a pretty new cultivar of Ficus Decora. It grows very like your other Decoras; a pleasing, regular, bushy shape, strong, fleshy stems giving way to the familiar, strong, grey wood stems of larger Ficus specimens. A moderate large  bush/tree shape can be expected, easy to trim to any shape you need. A plethora of wide, ovate, satin-finished, plastic leaves circle the stems. Colored in deep pine green, silvery sage, and rich cream patches, what makes it interesting is the tiny, splattered flecks of green all over the place like a wildly colored slab of marble dug up from a quarry in Italy. New leaves come out plated in antique bronze, which fades away as they take shape. A pinkish midrib and a multitude of teeny, tiny, thin side veins slant off to the leaf's edge. Put it in a simple pot or basket on a counter or desk and admire the show while waiting for it to grow into that nice colorful bush.
