Handsome hybrid Antonio is an epiphyte, as most Tillandsias are, but this one likes soil too, so we have him potted up for you. He will absorb his water from the air as well as appreciating the stability of a nice pot of soil. Dark, rich green, spiky, thin leaves spray out, upright first, then bend down out a little, graceful and airy with the center flower stem rising out of the center. The flower is a spray too of crazy, bubblegum pink, flat, oval paddles, lined like big pink feathers. Each laid-back, pink paddle leans back after popping out of the top. Each feathery line on each paddle will pop out a pretty, lavender bloom reminescent of an African Violet, emerging both right and left sometimes in pairs and sometimes not. Each line has its own lavender flower just waiting to arrive. The blooms, like most Bromeliad relatives, last a real long time. The most easy plant ever, it wants its soil watered when dry, that's it.
