Colorfully blooming cactus that are easy to maintain. What's not to love? Spring, or Easter cactus are named for the season they bloom, of course. A nice green, branching bunch of flat, scalloped, paddle leaves are attached to each other by joints (which is where you separate them for cuttings to propagate, rooting readily) The abundant flower action starts out as pointy spear shapes opening into frilly, fringy stars with a little pouf in the center. When the plant wants to bloom, it really goes for it, covering the whole plant in blooms. Quite spectacular. They come in an array of pinks, fuchsias, white, reds, and orange hues. Easy to grow, really rewarding, and plenty of cuttings to share with your friends. What is not to love?
