4" Echeveria Mahogany

$8.00

Dramatic Echeveria Mahogany Rose is another of plant breeder Dick Wright's beautiful additions to the Echeveria world. A rosette of spade shaped, thick and sturdy succulent leaves swirl around from the center outwards, leaves not exactly alike, some a bit wavy, some cupped, not perfect copies of each other like some Echeverias. The color's the thing with Mahogany. Deep plum purples, wine and burgundy, bronze and some hints here and there of a deep olive green tint are variable, depending on where it's living. (Indoor ones will green up quite a bit and brightest light will bring up the color show) Some plants have a beauteous thin, bright, fuschia pink outline on all the leaves. Overall, it's just a gorgeous Mahogany Rose, so pretty paired with other succulents in bright green, soft sage green, especially golden yellow, like our Sedum De Oro. Flowers are tall pink spikes with clusters of pointed, bright pink bells, set in pointed lavender sepals, the flower tips ending in five bright tangerine points.

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • Light - High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
