Gasteria Little Warty sounds like the name of a homely little troll in a fairytale. Actually, it's a nice little succulent with some really nice little traits. Picture a star-shaped rosette with stubby, thick, pointed leaves in deep greens and greys speckled all over with bumpy, tiny, white dots and sometimes rimmed in a fresh light green. Random lime green striping can decorate the leaves' tops and underneath. Very slow growing and shallow rooted, Gasterias are perfectly happy in shallow depth pots, trays, and window boxes without needing transplanting. Baby Gasterias peek out from their mama's bottom leaves; super easy to pot up for new Gasterias to share. Flowers are crowds of bubblegum pink tubes with light green, striped tips dangling from lavender/pink tall stems. Hummingbirds love the blooms and so will you.

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
