This Texas and New Mexico native Prickly Pear cactus is all the fun of regular Prickly Pears but in a very Minima size. Only growing to a 12" average height (with more stature sometimes in the wild) he will be perfectly happy in a sunny window at your place just forever. Made up of small paddles of just a few inches across, each paddle grows off a strong stem you mostly don't see, it's so full, stacking one atop another, each affecting a slight angular turn to face a slightly different direction, maybe a tactic to get the most sun? Paddle leaves are rounded and puffy, colored in asst. medium, soft greens and covered in regularly spaced, raised rusty/red dots (areoles) which, in most Opuntias, would be sporting spines all over the place. In this version there's not a single sticker in sight but here are some tiny hairs on the bumps. In the cold of fall and winter you will see a really nice rose/purply blush over the tops and down the sides of the leaves that will not fade and when it warms up, the new growth will pop out nice and green again. Pretty large, bright yellow flowers that resemble single roses change to a flaming tangerine with age. Flowers are not as common indoors, but who knows? You may get lucky.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- High - (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
