4" Echeveria Agavoides 'Maria'

$7.00

We have run out of stock for this item.

Echeverias are native to Mexico but this lovely senorita was lovingly created by plant lover Frank Reinelt, a famous California plant breeder. Like most Echeverias she has a dreamy lotus shape with chubby green fingers and pointy red fingernails reaching optimistically upwards. Her colors are best in bright sun, and look for a dramatic deepening of those colors with winter's cold snaps. Flowers are borne on reddish stems and look like little red lamps with a glowing yellow light inside. She grows up to 14" wide. Happy in the sunniest window or a brightly lit spot, Maria is a super easy girl to grow, needing only a little water here and there.

  • Drought Tolerant
  • Low Maintenance
  • Pet Friendly

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
