6" Echeveria Perle Von Nernberg

We have run out of stock for this item.

Perle was created from two Echeveria parents by Richard Graessner way back in the 1930's. Like Camellia flowers, evenly spaced, regular petals emerge from the center and twirl outwards, with the plant growing to the size of a dinner plate if left alone. The delicate lavender glow of each leaf is sometimes accented by a faint fuchsia wash and each leaf has a bright, white outline and a nice point. White powder, present on many succulents, dusts the surface as a protective layer. Perle is very bloomy, with coral bells on long, leafy stalks, enticing to hummingbirds in the wild who pollinate them. Grow your own little string of Perles by separating offsets or just laying leaf cuttings on damp soil. Give a baby Perle to all your friends! The larger she gets the prettier she gets, with the 8" to 12" ones truly spectacular. Just don't water her very often.

  • Drought Tolerant
  • Low Maintenance
  • Pet Friendly

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
