Here's another Spider plant! More compact, and closer growing than some of those other Spiders, the difference in the color is also the point of this one. The Ocean part comes in where the shortness of the leaves, fullness and a bit of a dancing wave rumpliness to the plant suggests a gently wavy sea. The leaves are bordered with a wide, white edge and centers are just green at first look but that green center is really a wide stripe striped in all shades of green, each leaf a verdant mix of different greens. (We look closely at our plants.) The usual Spider flowers are to be expected, long, white stems spangled with little, white flowers then crowds of dangling spiderlets hanging like a fancy skirt below the plant. Each Spider is a whole plant in its own right, take it off to pot for a new Spider plant or leave them on for a lacy, full cloud of babies. That's the fun part about Spider plants.

- Water - Medium (3): Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
