This Hatiora succulent is really just a bunch of rickety, short, green sticks, jointed and segmented and angling all over the place; called Dancing Bones because the plant's busy tangles make it hard to make any sense of it when you look at it. It looks a lot like Rhipsalis and not many other plants. When really full the nickname "Drunkard's Dream" is a good description too. At home in the southern Brazilian rainforests, it hangs out in the treetops, an epiphyte holding onto the trees by sending roots into their bark and drinking up all that jungle rain. He's slow growing up to a couple of feet across, so quite at home hanging out in a pot too. Springtime will bring pretty, waxy, flowery bells in a bright yellow, nice sized for a plant this small. Not a lot of scent, just pretty.

- Water - Low/Med (2): Doesn't need as much water, but doesn't like to stay dry for too long. Plant will become droopy when really thirsty.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
