6" Senecio String of Watermelons

$25.00

Like our other Senecio "strings" this one is prolific long strings of bright, light green strings racing along with little, round "leaves." These ones are fatty, round beads with a point but it's the color that makes them watermelons. The light green is banded with darker green stripes to the pointy ends, just like a watermelon. Purply hues flush the whole plant and darken the stripes to a purply color when the plant is in brightest light or is stressed by drought or cold weather. Trailing along the ground in its native habitat or stringing you along over the pot edge in your habitat, watermelons doesn't just sit still. Typical of "Strings of.." plants, there will be some flowers like little white Dandelion poufs with a cinnamon/clove fragrance, sweetly noticible when you just come in the room.
