Someone thought Aussie native Microsorum Diversifolia, Kangaroo Paw, looked just like a Kangaroo's foot when it was named. Handsome and bold, it's not a very ferny looking fern; long, shiny-bright, emerald green, strappy fingers on thin, wiry, fibrous brown stems mostly point outwards, overlapping each other in a profusion of green joy. Lime green, rhizome fingers run along the ground in Australia, rooting anywhere that looks good, but in your pot, the rhizomes will bump around inside, then spill over the sides and trail down, looking for trouble, sprouting new leaves that hang in midair. You may want to repot when the hangers get thick and insist on new soil. This is one easy way to introduce ferns into your jungle, with this no-fuss fellow.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
