Here's another beautiful addition to the Echeveia world, actually a cross between Echeveria ( not sure which...) and a Pachyphytum, making it actually a Pachyveria. The moniker "Blue Tongue" is an apt description of the cupped, spoony, really tongue-shaped, fat succulent leaves growing in the characteristic rose shape. Usually this one grows alone (maybe 7" diameter or so possible) and only sometimes pups at the edges, he wants to be alone. Basically a saturated sea green, aqua/sky blue, Blue Tongue can and will color up in gorgeous bright pink on all the edges, lavender, rose, and almost purples in different sunlight, cold snaps, and changing seasons. Truly sometimes Blue Tongue is a symphony of bright pastel colors almost like a beautiful succulent flower. Speaking of flowers, of course he does, a curving, bright, rose/pink pole a few inches high, with little lavender leaves and sepals on it curves laden with lavender pointed buds like bells opening to a brilliant coral/rose ending in a five pointed star in that bright rose, so inviting to the bees and butterflies that love them, for a refreshing sip of sweet nectar.

- Water - Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- Light - High (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
