Cupressus Macrocarpa 'Goldcrest', Lemon Cypress, is a wonderful cultivar of the romantic, wild and windswept Monterey Cypress of the California coast. Looking nothing like its parents, it's naturally pyramidal, it keeps its Christmas tree cone shape howsoever tall it gets. The brilliant lemony/lime foliage is myriad delicate, branchy fingers up close, and softly dense and bushy fullness from afar. It naturally likes humidity, coming from its central coast Monterey Cypress parents who love the coastal fogs and mists and clouds from the nearby ocean. Cooler weather may bring some orangey hues on the tips which will fade when the weather warms. Deer and rabbits don't much like it so your deer and bunnies will leave it alone. This bright lemonly tree is a perfect little tabletop Christmas tree with a tiny star and a handful of tinsel to adorn it. Guess what?? It has a fresh, heavenly smell of lemon when you pinch it!

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Medium (3): Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
- Light - High - (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
