String of Frogs is a Ficus, of all things. You would think it's related to String of Hearts, and the other strings around, but this is a very close relative of the Ficus Pumila, Creeping Fig, which it resembles. Crispy, froggy green, tri-lobed leaves with indented veins causing a quilted texture march in single file down fibrous, somewhat stiff, green stems. It looks like a pond completely overrun with tiny, green frogs; some escaping the crowds over the edge. Also named Quercifolia for the resemblance to oak leaves, we think the frogs are more fun. In a hanging basket Frogs will hang nicely, getting really long as they reach for the floor and look for another pond. Just perfect for a terrarium, with those small leaves.
