Decora Tineke was first discovered in wild tropical jungles where they soar to crazy heights of up to 100' tall. In our homes we can expect them to hit a much more reasonable 8'. Large, rubbery, oval leaves with indented midveins are freshly painted in delicate shades of pastel pinks with rich vanilla borders and soft, minty greens with a lovely, rosy, glowing magenta wash overall. New leaves arrive on the scene tightly rolled and sheathed in a pink rubber wrapping. Unfurling to a glassy shininess, the leaves settle right down to a semigloss finish. Super tough and durable, resilient and self assured, Tineke is an outspoken, strong and tall bush which can be pruned to fit your space. And such a riot of colors!
