Golden Madonna is an inspired name for a lovely plant. Chinese Evergreens are indigenous to South Asia, and from those native plants we have the Golden Madonna, a kind of amazing hybrid created 30 years ago by a plant breeder. Larger scale than most Evergreens, the big, deepest green leaves are fiercely tiger-striped in a showy, creamy white. Also part of the beautiful palette are the glowing, pinkish-white stems, very much on display with the rangy leaves reaching out above.

- Water - Medium (3): Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Medium (3): Not too difficult to keep happy, but does require some attention.
