4" Croton Yellow Banana

Yellow Banana from tropical climes is a handsome Croton so named for its fiercely yellow and green banana-shaped leaves. Some of the leaves have random waves on the edges and some have a hint of a twirl as if they wanted to corkscrew but forgot. Vivid yellow dominates the palette of some and others come out greener. A very variable plant that keeps you guessing. One curious thing about the foliage is the usually yellow midrib exits the leaf before it hits the end and sticks up as if it was a thorn, but it isn't, it's soft.

Quick Care Guide:

• Water - Medium (3):  Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
• Light - Med/High (4):  Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
• Difficulty - Low/Med (2):  A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
