Grandfather's Whiskers, Spanish Moss, is found gracefully and gently weeping from large, gracious trees in the South, where it is well loved. Hanging in silvery/sagey/grey ethereal trails, it blows in the breezes, loving the steamy humidity; also found near ponds and rivers, longing after the water. Clumps can be separated as they get thicker and hung on almost anything you have; hanging plants, branches of large plants, hooks, macrames, anything. Just to make it feel at home mist it at least 2 times a week and more in hot weather as needed and it'll be so happy. A couple of times a year tiny flowers appear in the tiny needle like foliage, look closely, they're so small you may miss them.
