Ponytail Palm is not a palm. It's actually a plant in the Asparagus family of all things with a whimsical, wild, tufted hairdo of long, thin, rough-textured leaf blades sticking straight out of a large, woody, brown and bulbous foot. Virtually indestructible and very drought tolerant, it is a set and forget for anywhere you have with bright light to direct sun. The woody feet get really big with age (and I mean enormous!) and can have multiple sprouts and forks after they flower once, growing their trunks taller and more goofy all the time.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low/Med (2): Doesn't need as much water, but doesn't like to stay dry for too long. Plant will become droopy when really thirsty.
- Light - High (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning.
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
