Micans is an alluring vision of burgundy, velvet hearts with long, pointy tips. Darkly romantic and moody, the leaves are veined in green, with thin, pinkish green stems and hide deep, maroon undersides. The entire plant is suffused with a ruby, misty glow. If you peek closely at the leaves you can see little iridescent sparkles, tiny crystally windows, maybe to cleverly let more light in. Micans is usually found as a hanging plant, but supported on a pole, it seems to grow faster with certainly much larger leaves. Also, on a pole it will turn all those moody hearts to face you.
