This sweetie of a plant is a native of southeast Africa. Looking frail and delicate, it's surprisingly sturdy. Strong, thin, stringlike stems string you along with heart shaped leaves of milky green with greyish vein areas, edged with cream. Stems and leaf undersides are a soft, pretty pink with the entire leaf bathed in a rosy pink glow. The long reaching stems hang straight down from their pot and can achieve a length of up to 9'! The flowers are purple, hairy things that rise out of pink, vase shaped tubes. Hairs on the flowers are designed to trap little flies, that become covered in pollen as they struggle to free themselves and fly off to pollinate other plants.
