Also known as Kalanchoe ‘Fantastic’, for good reason. In the plant world since 1862, this fantastic plant is robed in lovely colors of muted juniper green, pearl to bright yellows, with often cherry red rims and splashes. The color intensifies dramatically in winter's cold, bringing out the reds and pinks. Wide and fat, the paddle-shaped leaves sometimes come out in a wide and fat heart shape; not just flat, but gracefully curved as well. When blooming time arrives, the plant will stretch from the center a geometric stack of ever smaller leaves culminating in a quite tall spike with flower clusters all along the spike like little yellow tubes, quite attractive to humming birds, should you happen to have some.  P.S. One intrepid Kalanchoe was the first plant to go into space, zooming up to the Russian space station in 1979!

  • Low Maintenance
  • Drought Tolerant

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
