Lilacina's ghostly lilac-to lavender lowlights give her her name. Her nickname, Mexican Hen and Chicks, tells of an up to 12" wide rosette mama with baby rosette chicks peeking out from beneath her, as so many of the Echeverias grow.  Babies can be weaned and potted separately or left in with mom for a multi plant fullness. Rounded, curved leaves ending in a graceful point circle endlessly overlapping each other in lotus-like perfection. In a brightly sunlit window she will blush a coral pink. The pretty pink flowers are borne on coral stems. Outdoors, the blooms are a favorite with hummingbirds. Needing little water and care, Lilacina just wants to glow and grow on her own.

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1) : Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5) : Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1) : These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
