This Dischidia really does look just like a million cute, identical little hearts with very pointy points. Very traily up to 3', this Philippine epiphyte is closely related to Hoyas, some of which are Philippine epiphytes too. In the wild, clumps hang high on forest trees, some cleverly climbing up rough tree bark, traveling in the cracks of the bark. Quite a sight to see! The offset pairs of leaves are a fresh, light green with emerald freckles and shading on the leaf edges. The flowers are sprinkles of little white stars stuck on the stems between the leaves. This is a charming plant, all hearts and stars!
