Mexican epiphytic Epiphyllum Fishbone, or more colorfully, zigzag cactus, looks more like a wild green lightning storm sparking out of its pot. It blooms in the dark of night; huge red/white/yellow frills like a ballet dance of the flowers, lovely to see. Smooth, thick, satiny green with deeply lobed edges, the foliage pokes straight up and will eventually flop over to a length of 3', and trail nicely. As if that weren't enough, delicious oval fruits appear that taste like a kiwi fruit, complete with the crunchy, black seeds. Fishbone first made the rounds in Europe starting in 1846, loved everywhere ever since.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low/Med (2): Doesn't need as much water, but doesn't like to stay dry for too long.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
