6" Ficus Lyrata Little Fiddle

Charismatic Little Fiddle is half the plant of its big brother the regular Lyrata. Attaining a height of just 3' to 5', and with leaves half the size and growing much closer together, you get all the fun of a Lyrata in a nice little mini tree. Those leaves are rich green, fiddle-shaped, glossy, and cardboardy feeling on the top, and paler green and veiny on the undersides. Mini Fiddle can be pruned to any shape, you like; a full bush, strip the lower leaves for a standard tree shape with a bare woody trunk, or train it up to an architectural looking column. Get this plant in just the right spot and get your watering just right, as a Ficus it has little fits sometimes and drops leaves, but will happily resprout when it gets its way.

Quick Care Guide:

• Water - Medium (3):  Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
• Light - Med/High (4):  Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
• Difficulty - Med/High (4):  A little more finicky than most. Requires some extra care.
