The Muscosa part of his name means "mossy" alluding to the moss-like look of the plant, until you see him up close, until you feel him. Originating in South Africa (a not so mossy place) where rocky and dry places he favors abound, we have this fun succulent. Like a pot of thin, bright green sticks all leaning on each other, vertical lines of stacked leaves threaded on a thin green stem, interlocking like links on a chain in geometric precision. Every stem tries its best to stand up tall with good posture until it finally gently leans over to trail nicely. This guy has a scaly, rough feel to it just like feeling a lizard's tail. Now, Watch Chain is very rooty, the merest piece will happily root and homestead anywhere and carry on the family name. Super easy to share with your friends and pot up new ones for yourself. Expect around 1' in height and, occasionally, bright yellow tiny flowers.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- High - (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
