Tiki is a relatively new addition to the Dieffenbachia world, developed from a sport of Dieff. Corsii by two plant breeders in Florida. Full and shorter than his parent, Tiki has somewhat narrow leaves set close together on their petioles (stems) which have the fun trait of growing "wings", little extensions of the stems like little wings reaching out from the petioles near the leaves. Those leaves are soft and wavy, mostly a greyish, sage edged in a nice medium green, green midrib and some sloshy splotches of green down the leaf. Add to that some bright white speckles scattered along the leaf topside and undersides too. Growing nice and full and bushier than some Dieffenbachias, Tiki stays in shape always.
