Such a lucky accident, Hawaiian Sunshine was found as a mutation of Dracaena Hilo Girl. This happy mutant seems to have condensed all the best of its cousin, the Massangeana. The foliage is stiffer, shorter, pointier, neater, and less wavy, arcing gracefully and evenly spaced in an elegant simplicity. Leaves are warm green with the same yellow/green striping down the center as the Massangeana. Growing to 6' or a bit taller on the familiar, woody, brown canes, it's a really pretty specimen when it gets large; quite dramatic and nice in a pot or basket.
