Amistar "means to make friends". We'd like to introduce you to our friendly Echeveria Amistar. Another rosette-shaped Echeveria, each Echeveria has a little different leaf shape and color palette. Fat and rounded, curved and pointed leaves emerge small and cupped over the full center and reach back and roll outwards with age. Those center leaves are bright, light, icy blue maturing to a rich, dusty blue. Stressful things like cold, drought (or what the plant thinks is a drought) and changes in sunlight bring a gorgeous thin outline of flaming neon scarlet to the outer leaf edges. It's kinda worth stressing it out a bit. Described as "glaucus"; meaning covered in farina, it's the white powder coat some succulents have. Amistar's low and slow growing, just about 10" wide should be it.
- Drought Tolerant
- Pet Friendly
- Low Maintenance
Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- Light - High (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
