4" Echeveria Ramilette

$8.00

A hen and chicks Echeveria, Ramilette grows smallish rosettes up to 4" or so at maturity, then lots and lots (and lots) of baby plants under her skirts to fill the pot and the world with identical copies of mama. The leaves are identical tabs colored in a fresh, glowing, jade green, leaning inwards as the young leaves emerge, then leaning outwards as they age, and she sports bright, rose red points on each tab. Stress in the form of extra cold, extra dry, or extra hot sun cause a dramatic, ruby red as if the leaf tips were dipped in red paint, brilliant and permanent. When growing in the wild all these things happen each winter. Newer, unstressed leaves will resume emerging in the jade green until the next stressful time. Poky little blooms will rise up from just anywhere in the rosette on leafy, mintgreen stems curving and launching poky orange buds with brightest yellow insides. Look straight on at the bloom's mouth when it opens and see a bright yellow, six point star.

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
