4" Euphorbia Flanaganii Medusa

$8.00

The mythical Medusa in the old stories was an unpleasant girl, you couldn't look at her face and hairdo of writhing, venonous snakes without being turned to stone. Well, while this plant does sort of look like a hairdo of writhing snakes, it does want you to look. Medusa's spiny, snakey leaves reach out from the round center too, starting out as nubby, fat, succulent, pointy diamonds, stretching out and reaching out for you with finger-thick, bright emerald green, a few inches long and studded with bumps. It doesn't need to but it does bloom; small, flat, yellow/green daisies, very cute and very sweetly scented. Quite slow and steady growing, just imagine this in its ultimate size, a 3' behemoth! Keep it on counter or desk or shelf, just so you can look at it.

  • Drought Tolerant
  • Pet Friendly
  • Low Maintenance

Quick Care Guide:

    • Water - Low (1):  Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
    • High - (5):  Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
    • Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
