4" Ficus Decora Tineke

Decora Tineke was discovered in tropical jungles where they stretch to crazy heights of up to 100' tall. In our homes we can expect them to hit a more doable 8'. Large, rubbery, oval leaves with indented midveins are freshly painted in delicate shades of pastel pinks with vanilla borders and soft, minty greens with a lovely, rosy, magenta glow wash overall. New leaves arrive on the scene tightly rolled and sheathed in a pink rubber wrapping. Unfurling to a glassy shininess, the leaves settle down with a semigloss finish. Tough and durable, resilient and self assured, Tineke is a strong and tall bush which can be pruned to fit your space.

Quick Care Guide:

• Water - Medium (3):  Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
• Light - Med/High (4):  Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
• Difficulty - Low (1):  These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
