Our Colcolor is native to the Cape province in South Africa where it settles in lonely, semi-arid, windswept places in swaths, snuggling close together in family groups to save whatever water they can get and under whatever sparse shade they can find in the shelter of low bushes and rocks. Their close and low profile (getting to only 6" high) protects them from being a meal for rooty animals looking to dig up some food. Concolor is an epithet meaning "all one color" which our Haworthia certainly is. Tinted a deep, rich, pine green it is decorated beautifully with tiny, brilliant white raised dots (the plant feels rough to the touch) growing in a rosette of stiff, long and pointy, fat triangle leaves, slightly concave. The dots are evenly placed, seeming to have a bit of a pattern but then again not strictly adhering to it. The very pointed points are soft to the touch, no worry there for anyone touching it, as well as being non-toxic, safe as can be for the doggies, kitties, and kiddies. You can expect thin, wiry greenish racemes (stems) rising up well above the plant bearing sweet, little white blooms dotting the stems, little two petal blossoms that attract bees and furry flies to pollinate them. Don't worry, your bees and furry flies will probably not be able to find your Concolor.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- Light - High (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
